Pizza Prevents Cancer?
Finally, something that tastes good is good for you! A study conducted by the Pharmacology Institute in Milan, Italy found that "people who ate pizza once or several times a week were less likely to get cancer of the digestive tract than those who do not eat pizza at all." The researchers go on to say that the tomato sauce is probably the key ingredient in the results, as tomatoes contain antioxidants. Or it could be that pizza is just part of the Italian version of the Mediterranean diet. In any case, I'll feel better about making more pizza!
