Everyday Menus: Quick Breads for Breakfast

Friday May 14, 2004
Quick breads are so easy to make, and they actually get better as time goes by! I wrap my quick breads in plastic wrap or zip lock bags, then they sit in the cupboard, gradually being eaten as our appetites demand. Banana Bread is an excellent recipe, served with orange juice, coffee, and some scrambled eggs if you're really hungry. Or try Quick Granola Bread with milk and pineapple juice and some freezer sausage links cooked in the microwave. You'll be set until lunch!
