No Bake Cookies

Chocolate

Not only are no-bake cookies perfect for hot summer days, they're a great way to get the kids into the kitchen. One of the first recipes I ever made was these chocolaty peanut butter cookies. Make a batch or two and enjoy your time in the kitchen.

Everyday Menus: Roasted Potato Salad

Wednesday July 23, 2008
Everyone has their favorite recipe for potato salad. But this one is special. The potatoes are roasted so they're creamy on the inside and crisp on the outside, then they're combined with green beans and chicken to make a main dish salad. Serve it with a fresh berry salad and some delicious brownies for dessert.

Topping seafood, beef, or chicken with a cold salad is a great way to eat more fruits and veggies. The combination is also absolutely delicious! Browse through Meat with Salad for more ideas, and add this concept to your summer cookout collection. Start with Salmon with Blueberry Grape Salad, one of my all-time favorites. Yum.
